Qijiayuan DRC Renovation 1st Phase Capped Off

Witnessed by Zhang Yue, HSC general manager, and senior officials of the Qijiayuan Property Management, Fire Prevention and Security Department, Engineering Department, Xinxing Construction Development Corporation and Zhongxiecheng Supervision Company and as the last tank of cement was poured in, the Qijiayuan DRC Renovation and Expansion Project’s first phase was successfully capped off, following 294 days of strenuous work, on 19 January 2017. The completion of the main structure, as the result of the dedication and efforts of all parties involved that overcame adversities of frost, smog, rains and severe cold, among others, at the advent of the Spring Festival 2017, is laying down a good foundation for the follow-up exterior/interior decorations and equipment/facilities installations.

Toward the end of the capping-off ceremony, Mr. Zhang Yue, HSC general manager, went into a conversation with the involved parties over the following-up plan and put forward requirements on the measures of implementation, institutionalization of management, assessment of progress and end-result-based reward/punishment regime for the next stage. To ensure the implementation of the construction plan, the Xinxing Corporation was requested to take up the general contractor’s responsibility and play an exemplary role in coordinating to create a top quality project with practical moves. Mr. Liu Zhixiang, the general contractor’s director, pledged that no effort would be spared to ensure the smooth proceeding of the construction plan, through measures of implementation, to fulfill it in a quality and timely manner.
