Resounding Success: Jianwai DRC Receives High-level Maldivian Delegation

This DRC accomplished the task of receiving a senior delegation from Maldives, headed by the foreign minister, for Beijing to visit its embassy from 4^th to 5^th January 2017, successfully. Upon receiving the Maldivian embassy‘s note in the evening of 4^th January, the whole Property Management was mobilized into a rapid response mode to make everything ready for the visit at a very short notice. The security section made the traffic control plan jointly with the security and patrol teams; the cleaning section made arrangements to tidy up the DRC; and the receiving section contacted the embassy to ascertain the time of arrival to set everything up, on the morning of 5^th January. One hour before the time of arrival, the patrol staff began directing the traffic at the DRC entrance, together with the traffic police, as well as making sure that access to the embassy was kept clear. Special security staffs were posted in front of the embassy premises to stand guard and the cleaning staffs were put on standby to deal with any unexpected need.

The successful reception signals the beginning of our major events in 2017.
