Inauguration for the New German Center Office Building ——Briefing on the inauguration ceremony attended by BDS Leaders

       On the evening of October 19, 2015, the German Center for Industry and Trade Beijing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “German Center”) held a welcome dinner for the Baden-Wurttemberg political and economic delegation, as well as the inauguration for the new office building of German Center. Guests participating on invitation included Ms. Jiang Qi, Executive Deputy Director General of BDS, Lin Li, Vice General Manager of Beijing Housing Service Corporation for Diplomatic Missions, and relevant personnel from Liangmaqiao Property Management Division and PR & Sales Division.

       President of Landesbank Baden-Wurttemberg (LBBW), Governor and Deputy Governor of Baden-Wurttemberg delivered speeches respectively. As introduced by the LBBW President, the German Center is a subsidiary of LBBW, which brings together foreign trade resources of Germany and conducts economic and trade activities through business and trade associations such as Delegations of German Industry and Commerce. German Center’s successful entering into the Liangmaqiao Office Building benefited from the strong support and assistance provided by Ms. Jiang and other officials of BDS and the Housing Service Corporation. President of LBBW expressed his gratitude, and said this would surely provide more convenient conditions and platforms for promoting the economic development of China and Germany, as well as deepening bilateral cooperation.

       As requested by the German Center, Ms. Jiang Qi, Executive Deputy Director General of BDS, and Mr. Michael Clauss, German Ambassador to China, delivered speeches respectively on behalf of the distinguished guests from the two sides.

       Mr. Michael Clauss extended congratulations on the inauguration of the new German Center office building, saying that the new office enjoyed a beautiful environment and convenient location. For a long time, the German Embassy had been offered superior and all-round services by BDS and the Housing Service Corporation. He believed that with the vigorous support given by BDS and the Housing Service Corporation, the German Center, as well as the industrial and commercial enterprises served by the German Center, would be able to engage in economic activities more smoothly and conveniently in the Liangmaqiao new office building.

       Ms. Jiang started her speech by congratulating the German Center on the inauguration of the new office building on behalf of BDS, pointing out that with strong recommendations from the German Embassy, the German Center became the first contract client of the Liangmaqiao Office Building, and BDS had been paying high attention to the relevant preparatory work of all stages ranging from the initial consultation to the eventual relocation. In the future, BDS would continue to provide professional, efficient and diversified services. The year 2015 marked the China-Germany Innovative Cooperation Year, and she looked forward to seeing more renowned enterprises choosing BDS and DRC under the guidance of the German Center. She wished BDS, German Embassy and the German Center could expand cooperation so as to achieve win-win results. The ardent speech delivered by Ms. Jiang won warm applause.

      The inauguration ceremony reached a climax during the lion dance which embodies auspice. Then, Ms. Jiang and other distinguished guests cut the ribbon for the new office building of the German Center and had a look around the new Liangmaqiao Office. The event ended with a delightful atmosphere and marked a great success.
