Strengthening friendship and communication , Liu Yong, Deputy General Manager of the Housing Service Corporation Called on the Special Advisor of the SCO Secretariat

    To strengthen communication between the Housing Service Corporation and the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), enhance friendship between the two sides, better understand the SCO service needs, and improve the quality of services provided to the SCO, on December 4, Yong Jian, Deputy General Manager of the Corporation, accompanied by Liu Qing, Manager of the Jianwai Department of Property Management and Fu Yumin, Vice Manager of General Affairs  called on Ambassador Wang Kaiwen, Special Advisor of China to the SCO. The two sides had friendly, honest and open exchanges on various issues such as property management services and win-win cooperation regarding Jianwai Media Centre.

    The meeting with Ambassador Wang was held in the Ambassador's warm and elegant office. First, Deputy General Manager Liu Yong conveyed greetings of Jiang Qi, Executive Deputy Director General of the Beijing Service Bureau for Diplomatic Missions (BDS), and other senior executives of the Housing Service Corporation to the SCO and Ambassador Wang, which shows that the SCO is not only an important focus of diplomatic work of China, to which the central government authorities, the Foreign Ministry attach a great importance, but also the highest priority customer of the BDS Housing Service Corporation. The SCO is the first international organization established within the territory of China. Since its creation in 2001, it has set the goal of " enhancing mutual trust and good neighborly relations between the Member States, encouraging member states to cooperate effectively in areas such as politics, economy, science and technology, culture, education, energy, transport, and environmental protection, making joint efforts to maintain and protect peace, security and stability in the region, and creating a democratic, just, rational and new international economic and political order". For the Housing Service Corporation, SCO is a customer of the utmost importance, and as the new Deputy General Manager in charge of the Property Department, Liu said he would continue to implement the service concept of the BDS and the Corporation, and would lead the Property Management Department team in providing good-quality property management services to the SCO.

    Ambassador Wang Kaiwen thanked Jiang Qi and leaders of the Housing Service Corporation for the care and assistance provided to the SCO in recent years.He said, the visit of Liu Yong, the recently appointed Deputy General Manager of the Corporation, to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, fully reflected the Corporation's commitment to the SCO, and thanks to the assistance provided by the House Service Corporation, the  SCO compound renovation work in 2013 has been successfully completed, enabling the SCO to move to the new compound. In terms of day-to-day  property management work, SCO received from the Housing Service Corporation a strong support which includes whitewashing and decorating the walls of the buildings and compound as well as ensuring the normal operation of equipment. At the same time, Ambassador Wang said, for the diplomats of the SCO who hoped to be able to live in the neighborhood, the DRC apartments were the best choice, and there were already three diplomats living in the Jianwai DRC. He hoped that with the help of the Housing Service Corporation, more diplomats could live in the DRC apartments.

     In addition, Deputy General Manager Liu Yong told Ambassador Wang, that the team of the Housing Service Corporation was bidding for the property management projects of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and had undertaken property management work for various foreign embassies in Beijing.Ambassador Wang appreciated the  pioneering work and spirit of the Housing Service Corporation.Finally, both sides took photos and the talks ended in a cordial and friendly atmosphere
