As one of the hotels which were responsible for receiving APEC delegations, St. Regis Beijing will receive delegations of Canada and Philippine. The company attached great importance to this mission and the whole staff was fully deployed to prepare for the work regarding to security, food and beverage, room service, parking space allocation and dinning of support crew. .

On November 5^th, 2014, Mr. Yuan Weimin, the deputy general director of Beijing Service Bureau for Diplomatic Missions, gave a field inspection to the hotel to learn about the reception schedule and security and emergency measures for APEC. Mr. Yuan extended his sincere greetings to staff members who stuck to their jobs during the meeting. He stressed that receiving APEC delegations was a sacred and challenging mission with important political meaning, and all BIC staff members shall work together to overcome difficulties to ensure a great success of the reception work.
