Sanlintun DRC Party Branch meeting

When the Sanlitun DRC Property Management Party Branch held a conference on 29 June, Mr. Cheng Jie and Mr. Gao Xiangyang, respectively deputy secretary and director of the DSB Party Affairs Office, came to the event to the pleasant surprise of the Party members present. Mr. Cheng told the participants that he came to the meeting to learn and listen to the suggestions of the grass-root level Party members. 

Presided by Mr. Hu Botao, the Party Branch secretary, the meeting, composed of seven parts, proceeded : firstly, the broadcast of a documentary entitled « Warning on the Party disciplines and clean government » ; secondly, the announcement of the Party Discipline Education Month plan ; thirdly, a briefing on cases of discipline violation ; fourthly, an elaboration of the institutionalization of the Party discipline education ; fifth, the publication of the notice to hold the Party Discipline Quiz ; sixthly, the arrangements made for the Party Day event on 30 June ; and seventhly, the establishment of a new Party group and the election of the group leader.

After the presentations were over, Mr. Cheng delivered a speech, recognizing the achievements of the meeting and commending the Sanlitun DRC’s business operation. He said that the Sanlitun DRC had met the requirements for business boosting through Party building. As for the cases of discipline violation, Cheng made explanations about the definitions and approach of the discipline education, emphasizing on the necessity for the Party officials and members to observe the Party rules and act as role models. He urged the Party members to closely follow the education program, as it would be included into the individual performance assessment. He added that the Party members should take an active part in the education campaign and make online services, such as wechat, available to the members who were unable to attend in person for work. In the end, Mr. Cheng requested the Sanlitun DRC Party Branch to boost the Party building efforts, enhance membership unity and loyalty and make a greater contribution to the DSB-HSC development. 

Mr. Cheng’s inspiring speech was so well received by the Party members that they deemed it very educative, as the message was delivered loud and clear. The Sanlitun DRC Party Branch vowed to follow the instruction of the DSB-HSC Party Committee to make the discipline education a regularized and institutionalized feature and achieve even better results.
