Jianwai DRC Celebrates International Children’s Day

The Jianwai DRC Property Management, together with the International School of Canada in Beijing Campus at the Jianwai Media Center, organized a children’s carnival on June 1, 2017. Some 300 children and parents took part in the event. Mr. Liu Yong, deputy general manager of HSC, was also present to mark this time of joy and sharing with the youngsters. 

Two inflatable castles were erected on the central square for the occasion. The stall holders busied themselves displaying their goods amid joyful music. Colorful balloons and ribbons were hung up all over the place. 

The party was formally launched at 4 pm., following the welcoming speeches of the Property Management and headmaster of the Canada-China Kindergarten, when the kids began their pursuit for fun under the guidance of their parents. 

In the interactive part, the children experienced collective drawing and beanbag games. At the face painting counter, many faces of the kids were made-over to “Batman”, “Butterfly Princess” and “Hello Kitty”. Body stickers proved to be very popular among the young persons who repeatedly lined up to pick what they fancied most and put them in their arms. The balloon twisting show drew a lot of curiosity from the children and parents. The snack bar also attracted a large crowd of fans who tasted the candy floss, cookies, fruits and juices. In addition to the under-age kids, some new grownups also joined in the fun. 

At the Bank of China E-Community App promoting counter, prepared by the Property Management, the tenants were introduced to a firsthand experience of the App’s functions to foresee what a digitalized community life would be. Many spectators decided to sign up to the App in anticipation for more convenience, with the help of Property Management employees. 

Unaffected by the afternoon heat, the over-3-hour event came to a joyful conclusion amidst the children’s laughter, as they parted very reluctantly. 

To ensure the safety of the fun-seekers, the Property Management spreaded the children of different ages into the 2 inflatable castles. All Property Management employees were mobilized to ensure the party’s success, as they put up the display counters, chairs, sunshades, power sockets and switched on the fountain, equipment and facilities. Although absent from the scene, the security staff made sure everything went smoothly through surveillance cameras in the Central Control Room. The concerted efforts of all the related departments made it possible for the celebration to go eventlessly, safely and successfully 

The party offered a great time for the DRC youngsters and boosted friendship between the Property Management and customers as well as promoted the international education resources, Bank of China App and supporting services of the affiliated businesses to create a good community life ambiance and uplift the quality of life in the Jianwai DRC.
