HSC Executive pays a courtesy call on Ambassador of East Timor

Miss. Lin Li, deputy general manager of HSC, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Bendito dos Santos Freitas, East Timorese ambassador in Beijing, on June 19, 2017. A number of diplomats from the embassy also took part in the meeting and the two sides exchanged points of view in a friendly and cordial atmosphere.

Miss. Lin greeted the ambassador and his colleagues and inquired about their living and working conditions with tremendous care. She said that the objective of the HSC was to deliver caring and considerate services to the diplomatic missions in Beijing and hoped the ambassador and his staff would have made themselves at home in the DRC. She invited as well the ambassador to take part in the customer reach-out and culture-related events organized by the DRC.

The ambassador thanked the HSC team for the visit and said his embassy had been with the Jindao DRC for 14 years since the mission’s opening in 2004. The two sides have since kept a close relationship, as the embassy’s office and residences were all in the DRC, which is regarded as their homes in Beijing. He gave his particular thanks to the Jindao DRC Property Management for their strong support to all the embassy events through the deliverance of meticulous, caring and heartening services. The embassy feels very comfortable with the DRC workers and the top diplomat said he believed that the friendship between the two sides would be made even closer through further exchanges.

The ambassador also mentioned that, with the help of the PR & Sales Department, his embassy was able to relocate into the Dongwai Diplomatic Office Building. As exchanges between the two countries kept increasing, the embassy intended to lease more office space in the tower, for which he looked forward to receiving HSC support and assistance, as always. Miss. Lin inquired into the specific needs of the embassy and briefed the ambassador on the availability of the office spaces. The ambassador appreciated the DRC efficiency and said he would go and have a look at the new space next day. 

Before the meeting came to a close, Miss. Lin presented souvenirs to the envoys in the hope for continued friendly cooperation and deepening affinity.
