Jindao DRC Celebrates Chinese Cuisine with Tenants
2017-06-20

To further promote the Bank of China E-Community App and make it into a tie of communication between the Property Management and tenants for communal harmony, the Jindao DRC organized a customer reach-out event celebrating Chinese culinary delights. Nearly 50 tenants from 11 countries along the One Belt and One Road, like Mali, Pakistan, Cape Verde, Tajikistan, Iran, Iraq and the Republic of the Congo, took part in the party with their families on 25 May.

The day of the party happened to be the Africa Independence Day and the Property Management congratulated the African tenants on the occasion before the event formally started. Then the downloading procedures of the Bank of China App was introduced for the tenants’ easy understanding and utilization, delivered with a PPT presentation and posters for better user experience and sign-in rate, offering daily-life convenience for DRC residents.

A documentary on the One Belt, One Road Initiative was shown to promote the spirit of peace and development for economic partnership advancement with countries along the ancient trading routes, through construction of a community of common interest, destiny and responsibilities, basing on reciprocal political trust, economic integration and cultural inclusiveness. The Jindao DRC currently houses 102 diplomatic families, 87% of the tenancy. Taking advantage of the One Belt, One Road Initiative, invariable efforts have been made to build a community of harmony and inclusiveness for better quality of life of the tenants.

At the advent of the Dragon Festival, Zongzi, the traditional food to celebrate the occasion, was presented to the partygoers. Cai Jijun of the Property Management demonstrated how the pyramid-shaped dumplings made of glutinous rice and reed leaves were prepared. The tenants dedicated to the learning and made the ambiance excited, as they tried with their hands with admirable devotion, despite the fact that the end-results came out in all shapes and sizes. A professional roast duck chef was present to demonstrate how it was cut into slender pieces for easy consumption. As the tenants were mostly Muslims, halal food was served. An Iranian tenant brought tea native from his country to share with the fellow partygoers and declared, “It is first time I have tasted the famed Peking duck and it is delicious! Thank you for the treat.” Contentment was written on the faces of the tenants, who thanked the Property Management for treating them to such a tasty event, where they had the chance to experience more of the classic Chinese cookery.

With our ceaseless efforts, it is hoped that the tenants’ attention and contentment will further boost the Bank of China E-Community App user base, presenting better customer experience together with DRC care and consideration.
