Jianwai DRC: Costa Rican Ambassador Invited to Visit Jianwai Media Center

The successful catering service offered to the Christmas Gala of the Micronesian embassy and Samoan senior delegation by the Jianwai Media Center late last year not only brought about conferencing revenues to the HSC but also elevated its prominence in the catering segment. 

To communicate better with the embassies to promote the Jianwai DRC and Media Center’s supporting services, the DRC Property Management has paid visit to some embassies since the beginning of the New Year, presenting seasonal greetings with detailed publicity on the Media Center’s conferencing service capabilities and affiliated stores. The ambassadors from Tonga, Samoa, Micronesia, Surinam, Maldives and Jamaica, among others, appreciating the greetings so much and having great anticipation for the newly added services, stated that they were more than satisfied with the supporting services already delivered in the past, even without the new improvements. 

It was learned that 2017 would be 10^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Costa Rica and China, and this Department approached the embassy to invite the ambassador and counselor to visit the Media Center’s conferencing facilities, such as the Function Room, Conference Room, VIP Lounge, Central Plaza and Atrium as was as the affiliated tailor’s shop, Japanese restaurant, China Telecom Store and other businesses. The ambassador was so impressed with the ambiance and facilities of the Media Center that he said he was quite ready to host the anniversary celebration there. The Property Management thanked the top diplomat for his recognition and appreciation for the DRC as well as his support and understanding shown to the Property Management Department. In case the embassy would host the anniversary celebration in the DRC, no effort would be spared to ensure its total success. The social call was thus brought to a warm and cordial end.

As the Year of the Rooster is already well underway, this Property Management will go visiting more embassies under its care to promote the Jianwai Media Center. With the quality facilities and resources, increasing efforts will be dedicated to the conferencing services and prominence of the supporting facilities.
