Based on the annual customer outreach plan and for boosting value-added services, the Sanlitun DRC Property Management Department, together with the Language and Culture Center (LCC), organized the Chinese Language Training Workshop 2016 for the tenants. The 3-week training program began on 21 November with diverse content that drew attention of numerous senior diplomats and upmarket clients including the ambassadresses of Fiji and Ecuador as well as officials and their families from the Embassies of Algeria, Ecuador, Spain, Peru and Italy, among others. With an experienced LCC language teacher, the workshop was held in an upbeat and positive atmosphere that left deep impressions on the participants, who were amazed at the profoundness of the Chinese culture.
To attract wider participation, the training program included morning and evening sessions so as to enable the office workers to take part. Such arrangements received recognition of the participants and achieved good results.
At the graduation ceremony, the participants were invited to a vegetarian restaurant to taste connoisseur cuisine and enjoy traditional tea art performance on 9 December, 2016. Mr. Liu Yong, HSC Deputy General Manager, Huang Debiao, Fire Prevention and Security Department Manager, Zhou Li from the Public Relations & Sales Department and the LCC teacher also took part in the event.
For a starter, the guests were taken on a tour of the central kitchen and shown the versatile and safe food preparing and distributing systems. During his conversation with the Fijian ambassadress, Mr. Liu Yong told stories about the name of the restaurant in fluent English.
Following the kitchen tour, the guests were led to the dining room where Mr. Liu delivered a welcoming speech, greeted the Fijian and Ecuadorian ambassadresses as well as other guests from the diplomatic missions and congratulated them on their completion of the training session. He then briefly introduced the HSC service concept, saying that the corporate culture was focused on improving the customers’ experience through providing better services. He also recognized the achievements that the Sanlitun DRC Property Management Department made in the past year and thanked the tenants for choosing to stay in the DRC.
In the aroma of black tea, the participants
were treated to the unique and traditional Chinese vegetarian cuisine, which
was followed by a tea art performance. The tea art performer briefed the guests
on the origin, species and distribution of black tea in the world, focusing on
the Chinese tea varieties. The guests were then invited to sip cups of tea of
their own making. Before the event came to a close, the participants took
photos to mark the moment. The training helped enhance the DRC-tenants relationship.
The training workshop and the graduation ceremony strengthened the Property Management Department-tenant ties and offered a chance for us to seek the customers’ comments and suggestions. The diplomats thanked the Property Management Department for organizing the event and hoped such events would be organized again next year.
Taking this opportunity, we would like to express
our hearty thanks for the tremendous support of the LCC. More efforts will be
made to offer diverse activities and provide better services to the clients in
the future.
