Comprehensive Service for Greater Opportunities: Public Relations & Sales Dept Organizes “Belt-and-Road” Conference for the BIACG

Conferencing service is one of the priorities of the Public Relations & Sales Department in 2016, and we have delivered such service for the diplomatic corps and prominent corporations on a number of occasions with strong support and guidance of the BDS-HSC leadership. The state of the art conferencing service facilities of the Liangmaqiao Diplomatic Office Building (LDOB), together with our considerate services, have received the customers’ recognition and acclaim.

When it was learned that the Beijing Industrial Arts and Culture Group (BIACG) was planning to host an event themed on China’s “Belt and Road” initiative, in which cloisonné enamel vases, a form of traditional Chinese handicraft on the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage, made by master craftsmen, would be presented to 3 foreign Ambassadors to China, we approached the BIACG and offered to deliver customized conferencing services with a package deal covering event planning, show hosting and invitation card sending as well as translation service, for the event to take place at the LDOB.

The vase presenting ceremony eventually took place at LDOB Conference Room at 10 a.m., 25 October, attended by the Ambassadors of Tajikistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Georgia, when Mr. Ding Xinrong, General Manager of BIACG, handed them the cloisonné masterpieces as tokens of peace and friendship.

The successful event was highly acclaimed by the participants and the Ambassadors thanked us for inviting them and said they were strong supporters of President Xi Jinping’s “Belt and Road” initiative. The BIACG was also very satisfied with the conference services, particularly due to the fact that the commencement time was changed at a short notice, merely one day in advance, thanking the HSC for facilitating communication with the diplomatic corps. The highly professional show hosting and translation services also won praises of the diplomats and the BIACG representatives who indicated that we would be considered as the first choice for future events.
