Along with the completion of the interior decoration of the Jianwai Media Center and to promote its culture and help promote the affiliated businesses, the Jianwai DRC Property Management Department organized a music salon series under the title of One DRC, One Dream in the Central Conference Hall on 29 September, 2016. The event was attended by nearly 80 invited spectators, including diplomats and their families from Samoa, Tonga, Micronesia, Greece, India, Sri Lanka, Venezuela as well as representatives of a number of international media organizations. Liu Yong, Deputy General Manager of the HSC, also took part in the event.
At 6 pm., the curtain was lifted with a passionate presentation of the Indian belly dance, conveying a mixture of Oriental and Western cultures, as the dancers’ graceful and feverish moves caught the eyes of every spectator against the backdrop of the Soaring Cranes over Mountains, a spectacular mural painting.
Following the opening dance performance, Liu Qing, Manager of the DRC Property Management Department, made his opening address, thanking the tenants for their constant support and understanding during the period when the Media Center was under decoration. He added that he hoped the evening event would help showcase the increasingly convenient community facilities, increase exchanges between guests from various countries and international media organizations, consolidate mutual cooperation, and further enhance DRC-customer friendship.
It was the Media Center’s debut customer outreach event. The music and dance performances took the guests on a magic journey of amazement, bringing the show to one climax after another and describing good-will with beautiful melodies. The spectators were also impressed by and marveled at the stylish interior decoration in the Central Conference Hall. To express their enthusiasm, the Canadian International School Beijing Kindergarten’s headmaster and China Telecom Store manager took to the stage to present their own performances, sharing joy to the pleasure of other spectators.
The debut, moreover, provided a good chance for promoting the affiliated shops and, exhibition booths were set up for about a dozen shop owners including the Canadian International School Beijing Kindergarten, the United Family Healthcare Jianwai Clinic, the China Telecom VIP Service Store, the Sky Tech Sport, the Tottori Yoshioka Beijing Garments, the Pacific Coffee, the Burger King, the Yuntong Auto Service Center as well as the BDS Duty Free Shop.
As an important strategic partner of the HSC, the Bank of China (BoC) also took part in the event at invitation through communication with the HSC IT-Research Office, whose promotional booth was set up, particularly, beside the guest registration desk to allow every participant to have a chance to learn about the BoC E-Community App. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the IT-Research Office for its kind support.
To better promote the affiliated shops, all
the spectators were invited to take part in a stamp collecting game in which
they had the seal of each and every participating shop printed on a flyer
handed out on their arrival and was thus rewarded with a present at the end of
the event. The event was a great success and achieved good results.
