Ode to the autumn of the DRC

With the autumn breeze caressing the faces, the days are cool and clear and we enter the harvest season. Fragrances and colors of fruits symbolize the maturity of the colorful autumn, a symbol of hope, joy, harmony, laughter and dreams coming true. It is the favorite season of the DRC personnel.

On October 18, 2014, to enable DRC clients to have a better contact with the landscape of the Beijing suburbs, give them a taste of the fruits of autumn and allow them to feel the nostalgia and joy of harvest, the Department of Property Management invited the Republic of Korea Embassy Consular Division staff of Liangmaqiao Section C to visit the non-staple food base at Tongxian, where the Department organized the activity named "Liangmaqiao DRC · Autumn Leisure for Korean Diplomats”.

With all the aspiration for a beautiful autumn, 60 people from the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea arrived on the early morning on the BDS’ production base of non-cereal foods.Everyone showed a strong interest in nature and in all natural and ecological crops and pollution-free fruit trees, and got prepared  to show talents in various related activities. The entire activities were full of laughter, and everyone had a good harvest, saying that this trip was a worthy one.

With a rich harvest and joy, the long- awaited fishing competition started. After more than an hour of intense struggle, the awards were conferred to the most skilled persons including Jiang Qi, Deputy Director General of the BDS, Zhang Yue, General Manager of the Housing Corporation, and Cui Fenggui, Consul General of the Embassy of RoK.

The Golden Autumn, the Harvest Season - A Friendly Rapprochement between China and the RoK

After the fishing competition, we gathered to share the delicious organic cuisine and barbecue. At the event, both parties delivered warm speeches. In her speech, Jiang said China and the RoK established diplomatic relations 22 years ago, and since then political exchanges and economic and cultural ties between the two countries have expanded rapidly. The Korean culture is now the favorite one of more and more Chinese. We organize this event in the organic crops base, hoping to witness friendship between China and South Korea. We sincerely hope that the friendship between China and the RoK will be eternal !

The joyful and peaceful Golden Autumn Sino-Korean Networking Event allowed a joint harvest of sincerity and friendship. The sincerity and friendship between the people living in the DRC will continue to inspire DRC-ers to provide more balanced and high quality services, fulfill the dreams of each customer, and build an international community based on mutual respect and shared harmony.
