On August 19, 2025，Director General Zhou Xisong visited the Austrian Embassy in China at the invitation of H.E. Ambassador Wolf Dietrich Heim for a working meeting. They also inspected the current condition of the embassy's office and the renovation needs on site. Deputy Director General Chen Li and Minister Ulf Hausbrandt attended the meeting.

Director General Zhou Xisong stated that Beijing Service Bureau for Diplomatic Missions (BDS) is always committed to providing comprehensive service support to the diplomatic missions in China. BDS fully understands the renovation needs of the embassy's banquet hall, dining room, and visa office, and will coordinate with experts in the engineering field to jointly explore solutions.

Ambassador Wolf Dietrich Heim thanked Director General Zhou for visiting the embassy to understand the situation and expressed that the embassy will continue to maintain communication with BDS, hoping that BDS will provide a renovation solution as soon as possible to jointly promote the optimization of the embassy's environment.
