On September 16, 2025, Director General Zhou Xisong met with H.E. Bruno Angelet, Ambassador of The Kingdom of Belgium to China.  Deputy Director General Gao Yu attended the meeting.

Zhou Xisong stated that BDS is dedicated to providing high-quality services to diplomats in all respects, and fully understands the embassy’s needs, such as building green and low-carbon premises. BDS will further smooth communication channels, actively advance follow-up work in combination with urban renewal, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

Bruno Angelet spoke highly of BDS work, stated that Belgian side fully respects China's laws and regulations, and hopes that both sides can work together to accelerate the acceptance inspection of the embassy office building and the renovation project of the official residence, and jointly build a new landmark of green premises in the embassy area.

The two sides also exchanged views on other issues, including the management of the Chinese employees in the embassy.
