According to the Notice on Observation of the 15thMothers’ Day and the Donation Day for Underprivileged Mothers (Renkoubanting [2011] No. 6), released by the Organizing Committee of the Happiness Project and distributed by the General Office of the National Family Planning Commission, and in response to the call of the Family Planning Commissions of the Central Party Committee/ Central Government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the BDS launched an event for its staff to donate to the disadvantaged mothers who have signed into the family planning program. All the BDS departments took proactive parts in the event, which saw 2,028 people making donation of a total sum of RMB29,852.11.

We would like to take this opportunity to give our hearty thanks to the staffs and employees who took part in the event and, in particular, 17 new employees from the Bartending Section of the St. Regis Hotel, for their highly commendable good deed.
