On the afternoon of 13thApril, 2015, Chinese ambassador in Kenya Liu Xianfa paid a visit to the construction site of our project in Kenya, accompanied by Li Xiaotian, director of the project department in Kenya under the administrative affairs department of the Foreign Affairs Ministry. He carried out a site inspection to the new project of guest quarters in the Chinese Embassy in Kenya, and listened to the briefings from director Li Xiaotian and Ma Xueyi, the project leader.

During the visit, Ambassador Liu acquired detailed information on field structure, construction quality and process control, and also went through the implementations of site civilized construction including placing of materials, garbage collection, etc. Meanwhile, Ambassador Liu had a specific discussion with administrative staffs of our project department on the rainy season for construction locally and its potential bad effect on construction. In Ambassador Liu’s speech, firstly expressing satisfaction with the management on spot carried out by the project department of Beijing Jiaoyuan Construction Company and its staff’s high working spirit, then he required that all staff were bound to keep good momentum at present on project quality and process and to pay high attention to safety for going outside concerning the mounting security situation in Kenya now. Moreover, Ambassador Liu fervently exhorted the project department to concern its staff’s health and make precautions for mosquito bites in rainy season, encouraging staff to make persistent efforts on work.

Our staff from the project department showed gratitude to the kind concern given by Ambassador Liu and full support and hearty guidance from the Chinese Embassy in Kenya all the time. They also made up their minds to keep punching and hoped that they would safely complete the project with high quality, according to the requirements of the embassy and the project department in Kenya under the administrative affairs department of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, finally delivering a good report to our clients.
