The Beijing Duty-Free Shop for Diplomatic Missions was established in 1985. It provides a wide range of commodities including food stuff, commodities, wine and liquor, cigarettes and cigars, electric appliances, clocks and watches, beauty care products, fragrance and others.

For many years, the Shop is committed to providing high quality commodities and follow-up services to customers. With convenience stores in Jianwai DRC and Qjiayuan DRC in Beijing, it also has established branches in Shanghai, Shenyang, Chengdu and Guangzhou, which provide better-quality service for foreign diplomatic missions in the respective localities. In addition, the Shop has also selected such boutiques with Chinese characteristics as “Maotai liquor”,“Wuliangye liquor” and “Da Hung Pao tea” for convenience of and access by foreign diplomats and diplomatic missions.

In order to better serve the public and meet the demand of domestic customers, the Duty-free Shop, based on its years of experience of diplomatic missions, has opened up a dutiable wine area, i.e. No.44 Wine Shop, to enable more customers to select quality wines imported from all over the world.

In order to adapt to the rapid evolution of the e-commerce market, the Duty Free Shop opened its first online store named "Ambassador Style" on the website of Jingdong (www.jd.com).
