Popularize Traditional Culture and Promote Waste Classification

——Qijiayuan Property Department and Xiushui Community jointly organized the "Chinese Valentine's Day Theme Activity and Waste Classification Promotion"

On August 21, 2020, the " Chinese Valentine's Day Theme Activity and Waste Classification Promotion in Xiushui Community", jointly organized by the Qijiayuan Property Department and the Xiushui Community of Jianwai Subdistrict, was successfully held in Qijiayuan. More than 30 residents in the compound, who are diplomats and their families from countries stationed in China, participated in the event.

This event consistedof four programs. Participantscouldhave a try oftraditional Chinese costumes, make sachets, traditional handicrafts for the Chinese Valentine's Day, or try to complete their own calligraphy works under the guidance of professionals. In addition, in order to further promote the rules of waste classification and make the awareness of it rooted in the hearts of the people, promotion place for waste classification was set up on the site with simulative games.

For a long time, the Qijiayuan Property Department has insisted on combining customer activities with traditional culture and work priorities. On one hand, this event allowed diplomats and their families stationed in China to experience the charm of traditional Chinese culture at a close distance. On the other hand, it gave residents a deeper impression of the rules of waste sorting, laying a foundation for the gradual and orderly development of waste sorting.
