Following 2 weeks’ preparations, Sanlitun DRC offered a promotional event for the Bank of China E-Community App. Invitations were delivered to the tenants and posters put up in the apartment buildings one week beforehand.
Nonetheless, the weather conditions suddenly turned miserable on 5 May, the scheduled day, as strong wind rampaged. Merely a couple of hours before the event was to start, the Property Management held an emergency meeting and decided to go for Plan B, switching the venue from the outdoor meadow to indoor facility. In just one hour, the venue was rearranged in the Office Building meeting room and notice of change was displayed on the meadow, as the tenants were informed one by one to ensure attendance.
The promotion started on schedule at 3 p.m. The partygoers were invited to download and sign in with the App whilst a Bank of China employee delivered a presentation on its functions and procedures. All staff of the Property Management joined in to help the customers experience the App’s convenience and souvenirs were presented to those who connected successfully.
To draw wider tenant attention and greater enthusiasm for the App, a show of the traditional Chinese tea serving ritual, food tasting, calligraphy and Chinese knots was also presented when the Property Management employees conversed with the partygoers to learn their issues of concern and answer questions.
Despite the adverse weather conditions, the
event achieved the purpose of pushing up the App’s sign-in rate as well as
deepening goodwill with the tenants. The Property Management will continue to endeavor,
combining customer reach-out activities with promotional events, in an innovative
way, to improve the quality of service with increasing online options and achieve
the ultimate goal of boosting customer satisfaction.
