Special Information Session on Wage and Pension Program Adjustments

The recent salary and pension program adjustments have caught wide attention of the HSC employees. Based on communication and a prior survey, the Personnel Department presented a special information session on the wage and pension program adjustments at Meeting Room 327 in the BSD Head Office Building on the morning of 27 October, 2016. 

Presided over by Cheng Si, Assistant Director of the HSC Personnel Department, Piao Yonggen and Jing Liwei from the BDS Personnel Department were invited to lecture on relevant policies. 

Piao gave an overview on the wage adjustment guidelines, the current salary scheme and two packages of adjustments introduced earlier in 2014 and 2016 respectively for civil servants. Jing explained on why, what and how the pension program adjustments would be made, emphasizing, in particular, that the incumbent employees would undergo the most complicated transition. 

Following the lecturers’ presentations, Xu Yuan, Deputy Director of the BDS Personnel Department, added a few points and answered questions. Gao Yu, Director of the BDS Personnel Department, also contributed answers in response to the most difficult questions and misgivings.
