For Better Service and Friendship: Sanlitun DRC “Market Day” Party

  At the advent of the spring, the Sanlitun DRC organized a Market Day Party for the tenants on 14 April, featuring some 20 stalls peddling organic vegetables, eggs, grains, desserts, salmon, German sausages, rice wine, chocolates, homemade cloth shoes, accessories and jewelries, among others.

  The party started at 3 pm and the peddlers immediately caught the eyes of the DRC tenants who began lingering around the stalls. As it was time for the school children to come home, numerous parents took their kids to have a try of the snacks for sale and a sizeable crowd soon gathered on the DRC lawn. As more tenants arrived at the market place to seek items of their interest, the Property Management Department staff began offering assistance to the customers and asking for their comments on the DRC services.

  As promotion of the E-Community Life Tools App is one of the top priorities of the Property Management Department for the year, the DRC workers integrated the app promotion with the reach-out party. Employees from the Bank of China were invited to make presentations and promote the app on the scene and some 30 tenants were invited to download the app to experience the online service capabilities.

  During the event, ladies from the Military Attaché’s Office of the Myanmar Embassy were so thrilled by the bustling atmosphere that they performed Myanmar folk dances and won thunderous cheers and applauses from the spectators, in which the party culminated.

  The DRC Property Management Department set up a drink bar and prepared chocolates for the customers and their children, which received high appreciation of the market goers who thanked the Property Management Department for its considerateness. The Market Day Party drew to a close at sunset, and the tenants already began looking forward to the next reach-out event.
