The Sichuan Branch of the Beijing Duty Free Shop for Diplomatic Missions Activel


The Sichuan branch of Beijing Duty Free Shop for Diplomatic Missions (hereinafter referred to as the "Sichuan Branch") was designated by the government of Sichuan Province to provide duty-free goods to foreign consulates in Sichuan. Since its opening and with the support of its Beijing headquarters, the Sichuan Branch, with a corporate philosophy of "adopting fine management methodology, providing quality service, taking innovative approach, serving diversified customers needs and broadening business scope", has constantly improved its service quality, built its service brand, and won extensive praise from the customers. The Sichuan Branch, in the process of providing services to the staff of foreign consular offices in Chengdu, has been continuously improving the practical value of duty-free products, satisfying the daily needs of government departments and their staff with dutiable articles and domestic goods as well, diversifying the goods and services offered, expanding commodities markets, and receiving wide acclaim from customers.



To celebrate the 66th anniversary of the People's Republic of China, the Sichuan Provincial Government hosted a national day reception on September 29 in Chengdu. Nearly 400 Chinese and foreign guests including guests from foreign consulates in Chengdu attended the reception. Wang Ning, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Vice Governor of Sichuan, attended the event and delivered a speech. The Sichuan Branch provided assistance and support to the event.


During the reception, the Sichuan Branch was responsible for providing beverages and on-site service, which was praised by both Chinese and foreign customers. Currently, there are 14 foreign consulates in Chengdu, including the Consulates of the United States, Germany and other major European and American countries, and at the same time, an increasing number of countries are establishing their Consular offices in Chengdu, especially in the last two years when 5 more countries were approved to establish Consulates General in Chengdu. In the future, the Sichuan Branch will continue to strengthen ties with foreign consulates in Chengdu, build more platforms of exchanges and cooperation, and strive to create a good environment to provide quality goods and services, for the purpose of serving the mutual benefit, achieving win-win and creating a better future.
