Tayuan DRC Offers Assistance to Central Asian States’ Nauryz Gala

Organized by the 5 Central Asian states with assistance from the Tayuan DRC Property Management, the Nauryz Gala 2018 was held at the central garden of the diplomatic residence compound on 23 March 1018. At the invitation of the host, Mr. Yuan Weimin, Ms. Jiang Qi and Mr. Gao Yu, DSB director general and deputy directors general, Mr. Zhang Yue and Miss. Lin Li, HSC general and deputy general managers, took part in the event.

As an intangible cultural heritage and being the Kazak celebration of the spring time that has a history of over 3,000 years, Nauryz symbolizes the end of the winter and beginning of another year of great expectations. As the most important festival of the 5 Central Asian missions to China, it has been observed at the Tayuan DRC for 4 years consecutively. 

The party was opened as H.E. Mr. Shakhrat Nuryshev, Kazakhstani ambassador to China, started delivering the welcoming speech at 12:30. He said, as the organizer of the event, his mission would like to thank all the guests for coming. As an important heritage from our ancestors, the Nauryz traditions would be cherished and carried on, as it was an extremely important day for the 5 countries sharing similar history, cultures, traditions and customs. He highly appreciated the HSC’s attentive arrangements and strong support for the smooth proceeding of the event. The ambassadors of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and counselor of Uzbekistan followed up to present their festival greetings to the party attendees, respectively.

Following the speeches, the party was brought to round after round highs of cheers, applauses and laughter from the participants by the thrilling and touching performances of folk art, singing, dancing and instrumental music, adding immensely to the ambiance of joyfulness and harmony in the DRC, beckoning a better tomorrow for the common endeavors.

This year’s Nauryz party is the largest in terms of scale and number of participants. The figures show that there are nearly 80 diplomatic households from the 5 Central Asian states living at the Tayuan DRC today, making the missions very important clients. To ensure the smooth proceeding of the party, the Property Management began face-to-face communications with the Kazakh embassy one month before to offer assistance in the forms of traffic control/parking, venue arrangement, audio equipment installation as well as first-aid, power supply, safety and security services. On the day of the event, 11 ambassadors from Central Asia and other regions, secretary general of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization as well as some 200 diplomats took part in the event with families. 

As important partners in the One Belt, One Road initiative sharing a long and common history and looking forward to having better relations with China, the incessant rise of the number of Central Asian tenants is our biggest motivation to continue improving the services and building more diversified and broader platforms of exchange and searching for better, wider, stronger, more optimized and innovative approaches of property management to further boost the prominence and reputation of the brand name of DRC.
