Li Xin

Li Xin has been working as a Chinese language teacher at LCC for over 20 years. She studied in Japan after graduating from the Department of Japanese of Beijing Foreign Studies University. Assigned by LCC, she is currently also teaching Chinese language at Japanese School of Beijing.

Her specialties are as follows:

- Chinese lessons at various levels for diplomats working at the Japanese embassy in China, senior interpreter to Japanese ambassador, staff and spouses from Japanese organizations in China

- Japanese lessons for Chinese staff assigned by Foreign Ministry to work at the Chinese embassy and consulates in Japan, local employees of Japanese companies in China and school students, and westerners in China

- English lessons for Japanese students who need to pass the English proficiency tests in Japan.

As an attentive and patient teacher, she conducts her class in a lively way. Experienced in working with children, she is particularly well known for teaching Chinese to children. She compiled textbooks targeted at kids and established her own course system. She also participated in compiling Teacher’s Book: Standard Chinese (Revised Version). In addition, she regularly gives lectures on Chinese and Japanese culture, and organizes tours for students.
