Song Yankun

Song Yankun has been a Chinese teacher of LCC since 1988. He has taught Chinese language and traditional culture to hundreds of students including diplomats, journalists and business people from the seven continents.

He is an expert at helping students fully understand politics, economics, and cultural life in contemporary China through interpretation of traditional Chinese culture. By way of field trips, he provides students with new ways outside the classroom to find out about China. He takes students to communities to interact with local people and helps students understand the real China.

In his career, Song Yankun was assigned by LCC to set up a Chinese school in Medan Indonesia and worked as a teacher. He presided over the compilation of textbook series tailored for Indonesian students: BAHASA TIONGHOA STANDAR TINGKAT DASAR, and participated in the compilation of Chinese for Social Interaction in 40 Lessons and A Handbook of Survival Tourist Chinese.
