DHSC and China Unicom Hold Joint Capacity-Building Event

On March 4, 2026, a delegation of 27 employee representatives from various functional divisions and the Property Management Department of the Beijing Housing Service Corporation for Diplomatic Missions (DHSC), and the Project Department of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) visited the Beijing Communication Museum, located in the headquarters building of Beijing Unicom for a joint-study and capacity-building activities. The event was attended by DHSC Deputy General Managers Liu Haibo, Zhang Ying, and Tang Hao, along with Ma Wanchun, General Manager of Key Communications Bureau of Beijing Unicom, and other company leaders and technical experts.
The Beijing Communication Museum is a distinctive museum centered on telecommunications. Through a guided tour, employees gained a more detailed understanding of the development and transformation of Beijing's telecommunications sector over more than 140 years. Interactive installations provided an intuitive experience of the rapid advancement of communication technologies, showcasing the vigorous growth of China's digital network infrastructure, 5G, big data, smart cities, and other innovative technologies in the new era. The visit also inspired new ideas for applying intelligent communication technologies to enhance DRC's management and services.
During the subsequent exchange session, the two sides highly commended the strong foundation of their long-term cooperation. They expressed a shared commitment to prioritizing political support, focusing on diplomatic services, and working together as a responsible partnership guided by Party-building initiatives. They will deepen cooperation in areas such as network communications, data security, and intelligent infrastructure development, while strengthening exploration in fields including Internet Plus and the Internet of Things. Through joint innovation, they aim to open new horizons for diplomatic service support work with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
