Fu Jihong, Deputy Director General of the
Foreign Affairs Office of Shanghai (FAO Shanghai), together with a 5-member
team from the Shanghai Foreign Institution Service Office (SFISO), visited the
Liangmaqiao Diplomatic Office Building on 2 March, 2016, accompanied by Ms.
Jiang Qi, Executive Deputy Director General of the Beijing Service Bureau for
Diplomatic Missions (the BDS), and Mr. Zhang Yue, General Manager of the HSC.
Both sides exchanged views on issues concerning embassy zone project
construction and management.
During the workshop, Ms. Jiang presented an
overview on the development of DRC projects , achievements made in the
construction and development of the 3 existing embassy zones in Beijing, and
the new opportunities and challenges brought forth by the construction of the 4th embassy zone for the sustainable development of the HSC and economy in the
Chaoyang District, Beijing at large. Mr. Zheng Tao, Manager of the Property
Management Department of the Liangmaqiao DRC, outlined the situations in the 3rd embassy zone, the property management service items, special services and
custom-made management modes as well as incomes earned from the new Liangmaqiao
Diplomatic Office Building project, which was well received by the senior
officials present at the meeting.
During the meeting, the two sides conducted
in-depth and detailed exchange of views on issues concerning embassy zone project
planning and construction, including the titles of "5-star Property
Management Community of Beijing" and "National Role Model Property
Management Community" awarded to the DRC. Mr. Fu expressed his hearty
thanks for the support and assistance offered by the BDS and the HSC during their
visit in Beijing. The visitors then went on a tour of the Conferencing Service
Zone, Sample Room and Shopping Arcade in the Liangmaqiao Diplomatic Office
Building.
During the tour, Mr. Fu expressed his
appreciation for the HSC’s tremendous achievements made in the embassy zone project
development, and said that the successful experiences in respect of the DRC
development history would also help elevate the work of the Shanghai Foreign Institution
Service Office to a higher level. The workshop and tour were then brought to a satisfactory
conclusion.
