On July 18, 2025, Director General Zhou Xisong met with Marcos Galvão, Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil to China. Deputy Director General Chen Li attended the meeting.

Zhou Xisong emphasized that the Beijing Service Bureau for Diplomatic Missions(BDS) is undergoing a critical phase of reform and transformation, we will adhere to the core missions of Serving Diplomatic Cause in China, offering targeted services to their needs, continuously improving the service quality and exploring new fields of service. Regarding the Brazilian Embassy’s expansion project, he said that BDS fully understands the need of the project, BDS will further ease the communication channel and coordinate with all relevant parties to facilitate the future process.

Marcos Galvão spoke highly of BDS support and work, stating that Brazilian side fully respects China's laws and regulations, hopes to strengthen communication and coordination with the Chinese side to ensure the successful renovation of the embassy premises, it will better serve the development of the Sino-Brazil relations.
