We provided two simultaneous interpreters for the“China-Ethiopia International Capacity Cooperation Conference”sponsored by China Development Bank and the Embassy of Ethiopia in China and co-hosted by China Development Finance Association, China-Africa Development Fund and Beijing Diaoyutai Conference and Exhibition CO.,LTD. on September 4, 2015. Chen Yuan, Vice Chairman of CPPCC, and Mengistu Haile Mariam, Prime Minister of Ethiopia,  attended the event and delivered speeches. They both wished to encourage and support  capacity cooperation between China and Ethiopia. Professor Lin Yifu, Honorary President of National School of Development of Peking University, delivered a keynote speech entitled “The Development of China and China-Ethiopia Cooperation”. More than 300 representatives from the central governments, industry, academic circles and financial sectors of the two countries were invited to the conference. The delegation of the prime minister present at the meeting consisted a large number of high-level officials such as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Finance, Minister of Economic Development, Minister of Agriculture, Minister of  Industry, Minister of Mining, Prime Minister’s Adviser and the Ambassador to China. VIP Chinese guests included the State Councilor, Chairman of Industrial Park Development Zone and so on.
