BA in Economics from Renmin University of China. MA in Education from School of Brain and Cognitive Science of Beijing Normal University.

Dong Juan is mainly responsible for teaching Chinese as a foreign language in one-on-one and group classes, and has strong class-organizing ability and rich teaching experience. Upholding the student-oriented teaching principle, she adopts flexible and customized teaching methods based on the brain cognitive theory of language learning.

She participated in the Chinese training program for diplomats of the Confucius Institute, including textbook compilation. She was also involved in compiling a series of other textbooks such as Standard Chinese—Teachers' Guidebook, Happy Time—Chinese for Children, and Dou'er.
