Her research interests include teaching Chinese as a foreign language, modern Chinese grammar, Beijing dialect and Chinese language standardization. She is kind, lively and at the same time rigorous at her class. She has paid special attention to the incorporation of linguistic theories into daily teaching, and is good at discovering language problems from practical life and teaching interaction, then solving them and putting them into teaching. Many of her articles have been published in academic journals.
