LCC successfully organized a cultural tour for the Cuban Embassy inBeijing on 22nd June 2014. Led by Cuban Ambassador Mr. Alberto Jesús Blanco Silva, a group of 50 foreigners including staff of theCuban Embassy and their family members visited Tanzhe Temple with a history ofmore than a thousand years, and then came to Shen Xueren Art Museum, appreciatingworks of Mr. Shen Xueren, a great master of the traditional Chinese painting. 

Underthe instructions of LCC teachers, the Cubans enthusiastically participated indifferent kinds of activities experiencing the traditional Chinese culture,such as Chinese calligraphy, traditional Chinese painting, paper-cutting andChinese knots. LCC teachers also gave an amazing lecture on Chinese Costumeswith the newly published books which were written by LCC teachers –Living in Beijing – Get a Taste of Local Culture.Meanwhile, the Cuban “models” excitedly put on Chinese ancient costumes and hadphotos taken.

TheCuban Embassy in return brought exotic salsa dance and rum cocktail, making everyoneimpressed by the special charm of the Latin-American culture.
