Since the fall of 2012,Beijing Language and Cultural Centerfor Diplomatic Missions (LCC) has been workingwith Beijing Chaoyang Community Collegeon developing customizedtextbooks for foreign residents in Beijing.After 18 months’ hard work, three textbooks –Living in Beijing – Get a Taste of Local Life, Living in Beijing – Geta Taste of Local Culture and Living in Beijing – Get a Taste of ChineseLanguagehave been successfully published. These books are designed, compliedand translated by an elite team of LCC teachers led by Director Mei Xiaohan.They are aimed at helping foreign residents to integrate into the localcommunity, experience more Chinese culture and develop their language skills.
