On June 12, agroup of teachers of Beijing Language and Cultural Centerfor Diplomatic Missions (LCC) led by Director Mei Xiaohan and Deputy Director Chu Peiru paid a visit to thePeople's Education Press (PEP). They had an in-depth discussion with leaders ofChinese Editorial Office and Textbooks Publication and Distribution Center ofPEP on working together to compile textbooks for teaching Chinese as a foreign languageas well as to promote textbooks of PEP to overseas and international schools inBeijing. 

LCC has been ingood cooperative relations with PEP for a long time. A good many textbooks andreference books compiled or translated by LCC with Standard Chinese as therepresentative were highly praised by PEP.
