On November 19, the Polish Embassy in China and the Beijing Times Chinese Press organized a new book launching ceremony for Dr. Wu Lan, LCC’s professor's latest translation "The Agreement with Satan: Bruno Schulz - Letters Selection" .

Bruno Schulz was a renowned Polish writer, painter and artist, who had great influence in the filed of literary surrealism in Europe.

In 1938 he obtained the most important award of Polish literarature - "Golden Laurel Award", and he is recognized as master in literature of the world, who is on a par with Marcel Proust and Franz Kafka.

This book is translated, for the first time, from Polish into Chinese. It provides Schulz’s avid readers with his valuable biographical information.
