Test Target

Level 1: intended for students who have studied Chinese for a semester (half an academic year), with 2-3 class hours in each week. These students have mastered 150 commonly used words and basic grammar patterns.

 

Level 2: intended for students who have studied Chinese for two semesters (an academic year), with 2-3 class hours in each week. These students have mastered 300 commonly used words and related grammar patterns.

 

Level 3: intended for students who have studied Chinese for three semesters (one and a half academic years), with 2-3 class hours in each week. These students have mastered 600 commonly used words and related grammar patterns.

 

Level 4: intended for students who have studied Chinese 2-4 class hours per week for four semesters (two academic years). These students have mastered 1,200 commonly used words and related grammar patterns.

 

Level 5: intended for students who have studied Chinese 2-4 class hours per week for more than two academic years. These students have mastered 2,500 commonly used words and related grammar patterns.

 

Level 6: intended for students who have mastered 5,000 or more commonly used words.


Test form:

LCC only provides paper-and-pen test, and computer-based HSK test is not available in this test center.

 

Registration Fee

Level 1: RMB 150.00  Level 2: RMB 250.00  

Level 3: RMB 350.00  Level 4: RMB 450.00   

Level 5: RMB 550.00  Level 6: RMB 650.00

 

How to pay for the test fee:

1.   on-line paymentonly: Debit cards and credit cards with the symbol of Union Pay are acceptable, but foreign currency cards are not acceptable. There are two ways of paying the test fee on line: internet banking payment or quick payment. For quick payment, you do not need to open the internet banking service; 62 banks including Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Bank of China, China Construction Bank, China Merchants Bank, and Bank of Communications provide online payment service.

2.   procedures:

a.   With the completion of online registration, candidates can pay for the test fee on the popping up page – successfully pre-registered ( see figure 1 ), or pay for the test fee by logging in the Individual Center and entering the “Test Record” ( see figure 2 );

b.   With successful payment, the system will automatically mark the candidate as “test fee has been paid” which means that the candidate has successfully paid the test fee.

Note:

1.    HSK test cannot be cancelled after the test fee has been successfully paid;

2.   10 days prior to the test date ( including the 10th day ), candidates are allowed to change the date when they wish to take the test ( postponing the test ). Candidates can take any HSK test of the same level of the current year and pay for 30% of the test fee as commission fee for changing the time that they wish to take the test.


How to get the admission tickets:

1. The test center will email all the candidates three weeks prior to the test date, and remind the candidates of printing the admission tickets on their own;

2. Candidates log inwww.chinesetest.cn, and enter the page of “printing the admission ticket”. Candidates should confirm that all the information of the admission ticket including name, gender, nationality and passport number are information with the valid ID. In case of discrepancy, please inform the center supervisor on the test day.

3. The admission ticket also includes information such as test time, test venue and instructions for candidates. Candidates should carefully read the information on the admission ticket and arrive at the test center 30 minutes in advance.


Notice:     

1.  On the test day, the candidate shall take his or her Admission Ticket and the original copy of valid ID ( which should be the ID that the candidate used to register the test); otherwise, the candidate couldn’t enter the test room. If the candidate fails to provide the ID that was used to register the test, please contact the test center before the test day.

2.  The admission ticket shall be kept well after the test. It will be needed when the candidate gets his or her test report, enquires about the test result or has the test report reissued.

3.   If the candidate is absent on the test day due to personal reasons, the candidate shall be responsible for his or her absence. The test center will neither rearrange a test for nor refund the test fee to the candidate.If the candidate does not take the test on the test date for reasons not caused by the test sponsor, the consequences should be assumed by the candidate, and LCC is not responsible for arranging a re-test for the candidate. The test fee shall not be refunded.
