Test Target
Level 1: intended for students who have studied Chinese for a semester (half an academic year), with 2-3 class hours in each week. These students have mastered 150 commonly used words and basic grammar patterns.
Level 2: intended for students who have studied Chinese for two semesters (an academic year), with 2-3 class hours in each week. These students have mastered 300 commonly used words and related grammar patterns.
Level 3: intended for students who have studied Chinese for three semesters (one and a half academic years), with 2-3 class hours in each week. These students have mastered 600 commonly used words and related grammar patterns.
Level 4: intended for students who have studied Chinese 2-4 class hours per week for four semesters (two academic years). These students have mastered 1,200 commonly used words and related grammar patterns.
Level 5: intended for students who have studied Chinese 2-4 class hours per week for more than two academic years. These students have mastered 2,500 commonly used words and related grammar patterns.
Level 6: intended for students who have mastered 5,000 or more commonly used words.
Registration Fee
Level 1: RMB 150.00 Level 2: RMB 250.00

Test Registration
1. To register, the candidate is required to show any forms of his/her identification (I.D. card or passport with his/her photo on it) and submit a photo.
2. Requirements for photos
(1) Requirements of photo pattern
* Recent bareheaded photo with white background
* Black-white photo or color photo
* Showing the front face of the candidate clearly
* Showing the head and the upper part of shoulder of the candidate
(2) If the candidate provides the electronic photo:
* Format: JPG/GIF/PNG
* File size: below 100KB
(3) If the candidate provides the paper photo:
* Size: 40mm×30mm (standard 2-inch)
3. Registration cancelation and refunds
(1) Before the deadline for test registration (including the deadline date): the candidate is eligible for a full refund.
(2) After the deadline for test registration up until 10 days before the test date (including the 10th day): the candidate is eligible for a 50% refund.
(3) Less than 10 days before the test (excluding the 10th day): no cancelation can be made and no refund will be provided.
Approved refunds will be provided to the candidate within 60 days after completion of the test. If additional fees are involved in the transfer of the money, the fees will be deducted from the refund.
Note:
If the candidate does not take the test on the test date for reasons not caused by the test sponsor, the consequences should be assumed by the candidate, and LCC is not responsible for arranging a re-test for the candidate. The test fee shall not be refunded.
Computer-based HSK test is not available in LCC.
Candidates will get the test result report within 3 weeks after the test.
