Construction of Embassy Zones

The First Embassy Zone:

The construction work of the First Embassy Zone dated back to late 1950s and was completed in early 1970s. The Zone covers the area from East Second Ring Road on the west to Xiushui Street on the east, and from Jian Guo Men Wai Avenue on the south to Ri Tan Bei Road on the north.

The Second Embassy Zone:

The construction work of the Second Embassy Zone dated back to 1960s and was completed in 1980s. The Zone covers the area from Dong Zhi Men Wai Avenue on the west to East Third Ring North Road on the east, and from Workers’ Stadium North Road on the south to Liangmahe South Road on the north.

The Third Embassy Zone:

The construction land use permit for the Third Embassy Zone was issued in 1987, and the Zone covers the area from Yansha Bridge on the west to Liangmaqiao East Street on the east, and from Liangmaqiao Road on the south to Lai Tai Flower Market on the north.

The Fourth Embassy Zone:

The Fourth Embassy Zone, which is currently at the primary stage of development and construction, covers the area from the 2nd Airport Expressway on the east to Beixiaohe East Road on the south, and from Bahe Beibinhe Road on the west to Gui Hua Road on the North.

使馆区建设

第一使馆区：

第一使馆区于上世纪50年代末开始开发，70年代初建设完成，西至东二环，东至秀水街，南至建国门外大街，北至日坛北路。

第二使馆区：

第二使馆区于上世纪60年代开始进行开发，80年代建设完成，西至东直门外大街，东至东三环北路，南至工人体育场北路，北至亮马河南路。

第三使馆区：

第三使馆区于1987年获得建设用地许可，西至燕莎桥，东至亮马桥东街，南至亮马桥路，北至莱太花卉市场。

第四使馆区：

第四使馆区东至首都机场第二高速、南至坝河北滨河路，西至北小河东路，北至规划路,目前正处于开发建设阶段。
