Long-term Internship/Volunteer for Finance Department
Reports to: Treasurer
Location: Beijing, China
Term of Employment: 6 months internship - subject to renewal upon performance, local candidates apply
Remuneration: RMB 200 - 250/day; working lunch will be provided in the office building
The International Network for Bamboo and Rattan (INBAR) is a leading inter-governmental development organization committed to reducing poverty and protecting the environment through the use of bamboo and rattan. With headquarters in Beijing, China and offices in India, Ethiopia, Ghana and Ecuador, INBAR works with over 44 member countries worldwide and has links with partners in over 50 international, regional, and national organizations.
INBAR is currently seeking a qualified Intern to support and facilitate financial work.
Responsibilities
Ø Staff travel expenses statement and daily reimbursement reviewing
Ø Air tickets booking management
Ø Tax refund document preparation
Ø Draft required financial reports and statements for donors
Ø Financial cooperation with projects and regional offices
Ø Assistance with annual audit
Ø Other activities reasonable requested by Treasurer and INBAR management team.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in accountant, finance or relevant field, Master’s preferred. · Work experience as financial officer or accountant, especially finance work experience in a non-profit organization is preferred. · Strong English skills (spoken and written). · High-level proficiency in use of Microsoft Office · Proactive worker and quick learner · Ability to fit in and work in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic internal and external environment |
