The Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Beijing would like to hire Employee on contractual basis for the following vacant positions:

Position 1:  Public Relation and Communication Officer    

Number: 1 (One)               

Description of the Job:

The main role of Public Relation and Communication Officer requires being responsible for management of media relations, publicity, production of multimedia products, preparation of new articles, management of promotional events, social media and external communications to the general public. Carry out other duties as assigned by the Embassy.

 

Professional skills/ Qualification:

1. Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Journalism and Communication, Public Relations, International Relations and other related fields.

2. Confident to work with Chinese Institutions and Government officials

3. Ability to show creative thinking and communicate own ideas and opinions

4. Fluency in both Mandarin and English languages (spoken and written).

5. Excellent interpersonal, communication and networking skills.

6. Flexibility, ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.

7. Familiar with and knowledge of Ethiopia-China Relationship and culture of Ethiopia

8. Excellent skill in using various computer application and software's.

 

Work Experience: Minimum of four years of experience for Bachelor Degree holders and two years of work experience for Masters Degree holders, preferably in Public Relation and Communication

 

Salary: As per the Embassy scale
