The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) has the mandate to foster sustainable economic development, create wealth and improve infrastructure connectivity in Asia by investing in infrastructure and other productive sectors and promoting regional cooperation and partnership.
The Finance Assistant (FA) is an integral part of the Financial Management and Control team in the Office of the Controller. FA is primarily responsible for the review and processing of vendor and staff expense claims in accordance with the Bank’s policies and undertake various other activities assigned. In addition, he/she will be the daily contact with various departments and IT service provider on matters relating to the Bank’s SAP ByD and Travel and Expense Management module. Under the supervision of the Senior Financial Control Officer the FA performs his/her duties in a consistent, accurate and timely fashion.
The detailed responsibilities are as follow:
Candidate Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of relevant practical experience working in the process and control function
of an
international bank, large organization or public accounting firm;
- Strong inter-personal skills.
- Strategic problem solver with
sound knowledge in workflows, financial accounting and reporting.
- Strong cost/financial analysis
skills. Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
- A high level of personal integrity and a sense
of accountability, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in verbal/written English and
Chinese.
- Team player who can communicate
for results.
- CA or CPA from a reputable,
internationally recognized accountancy body is preferred.
