Position Title: Embassy Driver

Monthly Salary: RMB 8810 (before tax and employee social insurance contribution; salary is non-negotiable).

Summary: The Embassy of Slovenia in Beijing is seeking one eligible and qualified applicant for the position of Driver.

The work schedule for this position is:  Full Time (40 hours per week)

Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications.

Duties:  The incumbent operates safely a fully armored vehicle to transport the Diplomats within the city and the surrounding areas. Ensures that the vehicle is in clean and serviceable condition and performs minor preventive maintenance. Works as messenger or clerk as directed.

 Qualifications and Evaluations

Education: High school is required.

 

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE:  At least five years of professional driving experience (Embassy) is required.

JOB KNOWLEDGE: 

Knowledge of the location of other Missions, host Government institutions, NGOs and its surroundings.

Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations, travel routes and areas and its environs.

Knowledge of courtesies and protocol required from a professional driver

 

Evaluations:

LANGUAGE: 

· Proficiency in Mandarin

· Working ability in English (listening, speaking)

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  

Must hold a valid driver's license.

Must have the ability to read maps and plan driving routes.  

Must have good verbal communication skills, and an ability to handle all persons with professionalism and discretion.

Must be able to perform basic vehicle inspection and maintenance skills.

Ability and willingness to work overtime as required including on evenings and weekends and sometimes on short notice

Ability to handle luggage of 25kg weight

Qualifications:  All applicants under consideration will be required to pass medical and security certifications.   

Asset Qualifications: Preference may be given to candidates who meet the Asset Qualifications. Where applicable, candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet any asset qualifications.

Experience as a driver at a diplomatic mission or an International organization in China

                 熟悉当地交通规则及道路环境

 

语言要求：流利普通话，具有用英语工作的能力。

技能和要求：持有有效的驾照

                 熟练运用相关APP查看地图，合理制定路线

                 良好的语言沟通能力，及时处理和判断问题的能力

                 基本的车辆检查和维护技能

      专业司机所需的礼仪和礼仪知识

      能够并愿意在临时通知情况下根据需要加班

      能够搬运 25 公斤重的行李
