Vacancies – Ambassador Assistant of Embassy of the State of Israel in Beijing

 

Israeli Embassy would like to select suitable candidates to fill the position of Ambassador Assistant.

Job overview:

-              Personal assistant and translator (of live conversations) to the ambassador

Details:

-              Handling a dynamic office.

-              Handling connections to official entities (Israeli, international and Chinese).

-              Translating conversations in formal meetings, events.

-              Organizing schedules, calendars.

-              Arranging formal meetings.

-              Arranging business trips.

 

Job Requirements:

-              College Bachelor degree.

-              At least one-year experience as a personal assistant.

-              English - high level (fluent) in conversation, reading, and writing.

-              Ability to work under pressure.

-              General and current knowledge of issues relating to Israel (political, economic, export, science, tourism, cultural and academic topics) 0 an advantage.

-              multitasking.

-              Ability to work in a team, as well as ability to work independently and show initiative spirit.

-              Professional Experience in translating – an advantage.

-              willingness to work long hours and travel frequently across China.

 

The total net salary of this position is around 8K RMB.

The admission process consists of an interview with the head of the department, admissions Committee and a background check.
