Assistant to Support IT Security Operation
A. Background
IT security threats are becoming increasingly serious globally, cyber-attacks that targeted at organizations or individuals happens all the time, and usually will cause a tremendous amount of financial or reputational loss. To support the continuous development of the Bank’s business, AIIB’s IT systems and infrastructures is developing rapidly both in scale and complexity. As the Bank’s reliance on IT continues to increase, IT security will become one of the prerequisites for the sustainable operation of the Bank.
AIIB is in the process of establishing its IT security capabilities, an essential part of IT security capability is the IT security operation, which includes all the routine activates that aim to discover, handle and mitigate all the IT security threats, vulnerabilities and incidents.
IT security operation requires continuous detailed monitoring, detection and analysis of a large amount of data and information generated from the entire AIIB IT environment. To ensure an effective and efficient IT security operation, it usually requires sufficient manpower with relevant knowledge and experiences. Therefore, in addition to AIIB’s own efforts, it will be greatly beneficial to involve assistant to facilitate and enhance the IT security operation of AIIB.
B. Scope of Work
1. IT Security Monitoring
1) Use AIIB’s IT security systems to analyze and detect IT security threats or breaches under the guidance of IT staff, such as malware infection, trojan horse, data leakage, etc.
2) Regularly review the security logs generated by AIIB’s application systems (like the Office 365, SAP) to identify abnormal events, such as risky logins, unauthorized access.
3) Collect and analyze external cyber threats information, assess the impact on AIIB and propose proper solutions.
2. Vulnerability Management
1) Establish the IT security scanning tools under the guidance of IT staff, such as the vulnerability scanning tool and code scanning tool.
2) Regularly scan AIIB’s IT systems and IT infrastructures to detect vulnerabilities.
3) Regularly organize penetration testing for IT systems and IT infrastructures. (May purchase testing service from vendors)
4) Participate in the system development process, review the system documents to see if the security part can meet the Bank’s criteria, conduct code scanning and penetration testing before system go live.
5) Collect all the security patch information that relates to AIIB’s IT systems and IT infrastructures, organize security patching activates.
3. IT Security Issue Tracking
1) Maintain an IT security issue tracking list that contains all the IT security issues discovered in all the above activities and the corresponding risk mitigation plans.
2) Regularly check with action owners of each item to ensure the issue can be mitigated in accordance with the plan.
4. IT Security Incident Handling
1) Assist in the incident handling process, provide technical suggestions, collaborate with other system teams and communicate with users.
2) Record each IT security incident.

· Strong technical analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written.

D. REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree (or above) in IT- related field.
· Have experience in IT security- related work.
· Familiar with IT security regulations, standards, and technologies.
· Familiar with the concepts and practices of cloud computing.
E. ASSIGNMENT LOCATION
The assignment is expected to be carried out at AIIB’s HQ in Beijing.
