At the advent of the Dragon Boat Festival, to
better promote the Bank of China E-community App, boost the users’ base and
introduce new functions to the already signed-in clients, this Department held
a party celebrating the festivity on 16 June, aimed at providing some firsthand
experience of the App to the customers. The Property Management employees
participated in every part of the interactions for deeper communications and
better amity.
To make sure of the success of the celebration, posters were printed both in the paper form and online and would-be participants were encouraged to apply through the App, making it more familiar to the users with more practice.
The event was offered in three parts,
beginning with the Property Management employees informing the tenants about
the newly added functions, Neighborhood News and Flea Market, on the App. Then,
a tutor from the Language and Culture Center informed the tenants about the
traditional customs for the Dragon Boat Festival and coached the audience how
to make the Mugwort Incense Bag. Listening to and watching the novel experience
very attentively, the customers were so captivated that the Japanese children started
following the instructor in the making. As everyone at the party accomplished
their task of Mugwort Incense Bag making, the prepared glutinous rice, dry
dates and reed leaves were put on the table for the participants to learn
Zongzi making, a traditional specialty served on the holiday, together with
some readymade and cooked products.
The whole event was compact but rich with contents,
as the aromas of the Mugwort and reed leaves brought about an atmosphere of joy
and jubilance to the universal acclaims of the participating tenants.
