PR & Sales Executive Meets with Netherland Embassy Administrative Officer

Mr. Song Guang, Zhang Jing and Zhang Xu, PR & Sales manager and office premises supervisors, met with Mr. Cornelis J. Groeneveld, administrative officer of the Netherlands Embassy, on 30 March 2018. As an office space lessee in 2^nd Embassy Zone under the HSC’s caretaking, the chancery lease brings about RMB7.77 million rental fees a year, second only to the Vietnamese and Italian missions, being the third largest and making it a very important client.

Mr. Groeneveld started by thanking the HSC for the professional services proffered in regard of routine maintenance and improvement over the years and the two sides then entered into a discussion over office premises expansion for the embassy.

Upon learning about the diplomats’ housing issue, Mr. Song recommended the New Building 12 at Qijiayuan DRC and agreed that he was eager for the embassy staff to move back to the diplomatic residence compound. Mr. Groeneveld thanked Song for the updated information and promised to make recommendation to his colleagues.

Before the end of the meeting, the two sides also exchanged views on the possibility of organizing the Better Health with Chinese Medicine event at the embassy.
