Liangmaqiao DRC Organizes Excursion to Karst Cave in Suburban Beijing
2017-11-13

The Liangmaqiao DRC Property Management organized a day’s tour to the Karst cave at the Shihuadong National Geopark located at the Fangshan District of Beijing, as a summer getaway while learning more about the Chinese history and culture, mingled with the Bank of China E-Community App promotion for the DRC dwellers, on 26 August 2017. It is aimed at establishing more convenient and efficient means of communication to boost the DRC-Customer rapport. Mr. Huang Debiao, HSC Fire Fighting and Security Department director, and Shi Chenyang, PR & Sales representative, also took part in the trip.

Some 50 tenants joined the excursion, including envoys from Japan, Republic of Korea, Spain, Trinidad and Tobago and EU Mission in Beijing.

The Property Management executives and employees arrived at the assembly place to wait for the customers early in the morning. At 8 a.m., the participating tenants embarked on the bus. On the way to the suburbs, the customer service staff briefed the excursionists on the history of the Geopark cave and safety tips. Promotional brochures for the Bank of China E-Community App were handed out to the customers who had yet to sign up. Following a 90-minute ride, the excursionists arrived at the entrance of the Geopark where they took pictures to mark the moment. The day’s tour began as the sightseers made their way into the grotto.

Located in the southwestern suburbs of Beijing, the cavern is comprised of 7 layers, reaching 150 meters deep underground. The first to fourth layers open to the public are consisted of a sightseeing footpath of 2500 meters. Formerly named Qian Zhen Dong (the Hermit’s Cave), it was discovered some 500 years ago, being one of the largest Karst caves found in China, on par with those in Guangxi, Fujian and Zhejiang provinces. Professional tour guide was invited to provide the visitors with in-depth knowledge of the natural wonder. Amazed at the sights, the visitors took close looks as well as a lot of photographs. The Property Management employees, however, busied themselves with constantly reminding the visitors to watch their steps at rugged spots on the footpath to ensure their safety and wellbeing.

Following the full morning trek, the sightseers were taken to a restaurant to reenergize. During lunch, the tenants socialized with the Property Management employees, thanking them for organizing the excursion that provided them with a lot of fun while learning more about the local nature. They were offered a chance of physical exercise as well as making new friends and taking part in it was a totally trilling experience, they said.

The sightseers embarked on the bus ride home after lunch and arrived at the DRC about 4 pm, safe and sound.

Basing on the past and present experiences acquired, the Property Management has made incessant efforts to improve its organizational and service skills to bring the customers closer to the DRC and boost Property Management-Customer understanding and communications and received wide acclaims.

The success of the event owes also tremendously to the support and assistance of the PR & Sales, Fire Fighting & Security and Financial Departments, for which we would like to give our heartiest thanks.
