HSC Leaders pay visit to employees on sick leave
2017-09-06

As a big family, the HSC corporate leaders are concerned with the wellbeing of the DRC employees, particularly those who have unfortunately fallen ill.

Mr. Liu Yong, HSC deputy general manager, thus led Jianwai DRC Property Management and Trade Union officials to visit Mr. Wang Baoming and Mr. Tian Runzhou at their homes on 17 July.

Arriving at the home of Mr. Wang, Mr. Liu gave his greetings to the worker on sick leave in behalf of the DSB and HSC leaders, including Ms. Jiang Qi, Mr. Zhang Yue and Miss Lin Li, and told him that when Ms. Jiang learned about his misfortune, she was so concerned that she had made frequent inquiries about his condition. Mr. Liu told Wang to take good time in his recuperation to beat the illness and regain health. In the end, Mr. Liu and Property Management officials presented the donated money from the DSB Welfare Fund. Being obviously touched, Mr. Wang thanked the DSB-HSC leaders for their care and concern with tears in his eyes and promised to work with the doctor for a speedy recovery.

At the home of Mr. Tian, Mr. Liu was pained to see the patient unable to speak or move freely, as the consequence of cerebral thrombosis. He rushed up to help the sick worker sit into his chair before conveying the greetings of the DSB-HSC leadership. Mr. Liu inquired about Mr. Tian’s condition and presented the donated ex-gratia money to the employee’s wife. Though being unable to express his feelings and gratitude in words, his teary eyes revealed his emotions, as his wife thanked the HSC officials on behalf of her husband.

Upon concluding the home visits, Mr. Liu instructed the Property Management executives to give more care and concern for the employees on a regular basis, considering them as family members. He said particular attention should be paid to the wellbeing of the employees at work and reasonable working schedule should be arranged to ensure the workers’ health, especially in the light of extreme weather conditions.
